Happy 2013.. and yes the world has not ended

new year.. it seems just like any other day.. maybe a public holiday to rest or maybe have some gathering with friends.

that is a sign that you are getting old.
countdown parties no longer interest you, or rather, not that the fireworks is not interesting, but is that your body cannot function at unearthly hours.

you began to yawn and space out when it's past your bedtime. you look at youngsters and comment to your friends, "年轻真好"
while for them, the night has still begun, it seems like an end for you.

as you grow older.. there is no escape attending lotsa weddings and even baby showers. and you began appreciate having more me-times and sometimes even enjoying doing things alone when your friends are busy with work, other halves, spouses and kiddos.

you began to lose track of how old you really are, and yet you know you are so close to that big 30.

you are torn between, 'i am still not that old you know, but yet i am no longer young' stage. you yearn to still do the things that youngster do, but you somehow cannot find people to do things like that with you.. and even if you do, you feel out of place because the people around you are in their sweet teens.

but friends, if you are feeling the same as me, im proud to say that my life is
still good, because my Lord has great things in store for me! who cares about aging when He is the author of time?
