If we hold on together...

i used to believe in this theory.

that when two people are together,when they hold their hands together, even if one party is tired, as long as the other holds on,they will still hold on together.

My. I was wrong.

Two people must hold on together despite how tired they are because even if the other party holds on to the tired hand,
it does not work if the tired party does not want to hold the other hand back.

think about it, when you run a marathon, you are bound to be tired.

you can choose to run on,rest, or give up.

you can rest but once you rest, do you think you wanna get up to run? the trick to it is: go slow if you must, but don't stop.

So, coming back to that hand, no matter how, if one wants to let go, no matter how the other party wants to hold on, it will not work.

Are you holding on to a hand which has let go long ago?

Then it's time to let go too.

If the smell of his/her hand still lingers on, wash your hands.
Wash them with soap, once, twice, thrice, many times.

If the warmth of his/hand still remains,
hold a block of ice, then hold your soft toy, hold your best friend, hold your pillow, your bolster.

If all these doesn't work, and you still can't let go.

Chop off your hand.
